4. Website Pages:
Now we get to the nitty gritty -- what your customers will see when they come to your Website. There are several different types of pages. Most likely, some combination of the types of pages listed below will meet your needs. Strictly speaking, only one of these pages is necessary -- the index or "home" page. You can have as many or as few pages on your site as you wish.

(a) Index page or "home" page: This is the first page a user lands on when he comes to your Website. Like a friendly storefront, it serves to invite your customers in. An index page can be a "splash page" showing your logo or a photograph, some small quantity of promotional text and an "ENTER" button to the real main page of your site. Or, the index page may be the main page of your site, containing lots of information and links to all the other parts of your site. And, of course, there are lots of other possibilities. The smallest possible Website consists of just an index page.

(b) "About Us" page: This page can be chatty or formal or anything in between. Essentially, it's a place to tell your customer what makes you unique. It can include an account of your company's history or a mission statement or a photo of your staff -- whatever you want to tell the world about YOU.

(c) Products page(s): Here you'll put photos and text describing the goods and services that you have to offer.  Separate pages for different product lines can give your site the feel of a catalog and help the user find what interests him more quickly. ((Your 2 hours of Webmaster services each month can be used to update your product pages on a weekly or monthly basis -- assuring that the information you offer is always "fresh."))

(d) Tech Support page(s): You might want a page of FAQs (frequently asked questions) about either your business or specific products. You could also have pages that include parts lists, diagrams and troubleshooting instructions.

(e) "How To Get Here" page: This page tells customers how to find you in the physical world. It can include directions from major highways and anything special that ought to be said about parking. It might also include a map and probably should include the hours that you're open for business.

(f) "How To Order" page: You might provide an order form that your customer can print, fill out and mail to you. Or you might provide a toll-free number for ordering. If this sort of page is applicable to your business, here's where you'll let your customer know how to do business with you.

(g) Free Information page(s): You might decide to provide your users with some industry news or a page of useful links to sites that might interest someone who has come to your site. (The theory behind this is that customers will return to your site if they find something useful or interesting there.)

(h) "What's New" page(s): Here you might post company updates, newsletters, information about current and upcoming sales, etc..

(i) "Contact Us" page: This page allows you to give a choice of email contacts -- depending on the nature of the customer's inquiry. Some of these contacts can be autoresponders -- automatically mailing out information sheets on particular topics. You should also give your physical address, your postal address, phone number, fax number and business hours.

Now, you need to think about which of these pages you want included in YOUR Website. List the pages you would like here: ___________________________________________________________________________
