| We can set up multiple mailboxes of various sorts for
you. A regular mailbox address might be john@yourwebname.com. Aliases allow
you to have mail that's sent to several different addresses all be delivered
to one designated user. For instance, if John is responsible for handling
all the email that comes addressed to info@yourwebname.com, sales@yourwebname.com
and customerservice@yourwebname.com, "info", "sales" and "customerservice"
can be set up as alias accounts -- automatically forwarding all their mail
into John's mailbox, saving him the trouble of accessing separate mail
accounts. Autoresponders are email addresses which send out automatic replies
to mail they receive. You might use these to send out sheets of technical
specs on specific products, lists of references, price lists and etc. --
anything you want to make available, but don't want to display on your
Website itself. |
